CLAUDIA ANDÚJAR (Suiza, 1931)

 

Photographer based in Brazil. She has won a number of fellowships and awards, among them a Guggenheim Foundation grant. Her photographs are featured in the collections of the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York, the Amsterdam Art Museum and other museums and private col­lections. The traditions and way of life of the Yanomami indigenous group have been the main subject of her work. She lives and works in São Paulo.
